New Years Updates!

Hi Baes!

I just wanted to make you aware of some of the changes that you might notice.  I have so many exciting things planned for 2026 so I need to make sure to tie some loose ends before embarking on the new year.

2025 has been a very transformative year for me.  I was pulled in so many different directions physically, emotionally, and & spiritually, and the outcome has been total alignment and abundance.  Thank you to everyone that have contributed to my growth.  With that being said, I've come to the realization that I am not an octopus and I have to find balance between business & enjoying the fruits of my labor.

I am a one-woman show.  I design/manage my own website, I take my own product photos, I create my own products, & source my own materials.  With so much energy already going into the production & administrative parts, I found very little time for the important things.  These changes for 2026 were implemented so find balance between serving you all while also prioritizing myself & my growth.

Some of you have already noticed that our photos have changed a bit.  In order to separate ourselves from other online vendors that may have a similar photo aesthetic, we have adjusted our product photos.  It's a small change for a big impact! I have worked hard to connect to my own creative style so the last thing I want to do is get confused for another business.  The change may make the beads appear bigger to some, however, the size has not changed.  They are still the same 3mm sized beads that you all love. 

I want to also share that we will no longer be doing sporadic product drops throughout the year.  In order to focus on our other business goals, there will only be 5 drops this year (4 seasonal and one themed.)  We have pioneered the idea of ‘Shopping By Intention’ by way of accent spacer colors in our niche, so our drops will be aligned with putting this fresh perspective into motion.  We will be focused less on conforming to traditional timing/holidays, and focused more on paving our own way.

Also,to reduce confusion and match our brand name with our social media names, shopmadebyvenus.com has been assigned as our sub domain again.  So you may use shopmadebyvenus.com and madebyvenus.com to access our site.

It has been impossible to show up and provide quality presence, while being available to so many adjustments. With that being said,  we will no longer be accepting clasp/removable waistbead requests or custom color waistbead requests.  All of our waistbeads will be tie-on going forward.  If you are in need of removable waistbeads, message us and we’ll point you in the direction to a trusted beader.  

Due to so many system issues and points discrepancies, the rewards program has been discontinued.  I may try this feature again in the future, but for right now its not beneficial to maintain.  Although, there wont' be an option to receive new points, any points accrued will still be honored  Contact me if you need assistance with redemption.

Okay! We are down to our last update.  It was hard to make this decision, but we will be shifting from primarily doing vending markets.  The weather was responsible for so many of our cancelled events in 2025 & we are refusing to compete with mother nature in 2026.  We intend to still do events sporadically throughout the year, however they will not be our primary focus.  In the event that we do a pop-up, it will be listed on the calendar on our ‘Contact Us’ page at least a month ahead of time.

To help some of our local clients adjust to this change, we will be offering bookings for tie-ons for the first half of the year.  You will be required to purchase your strands online, choose pick up as the shipping option and then schedule your fitting.  Emails will be sent out in January with these exact instructions as a reminder.

This year I get to spend Winter break away with my family & loved ones.  Starting on December 17, 2025.  Any orders placed after that date will not be processed until January 2, 2026.  Additionally, all out of stock items will be restocked around the second week of January 2026.
